We keep Carniolan bees in apiaries across Kane County and supply specialty grocers, bakeries, kitchens, and roasters throughout Chicagoland. Every batch is harvested, settled, and packed by us — one supplier, one point of contact, and honey we can trace back to the yard it came from.

Your label, our honey

When a shop puts its own name on a jar, the name is a promise about what is inside it. Most private-label honey is blended from drums bought on a commodity market — the packer often cannot tell you which country it came from, let alone which field.

This is one beekeeper's honey: raw, unfiltered, and traceable to the yard it was pulled from. Same honey and same jars we pack under our own name. The only difference is whose name is on the front.

Sizes: Honey in 1 lb, 2 lb — case of 24 × 1 lb, case of 12 × 2 lb or 5 gal pail (50 lb). Candles as tins and votives, sized on quote. Other jar sizes on request.
Your label: You supply the printed labels — your design, your printer. We fill, apply and case them.
Minimum: Two cases to start, one at a time after that. A case is 24 lb in either jar size.

Other jar sizes are available — tell us what you need and we will put it in the quote. Candle sizes and case counts are quoted on inquiry, since the wax supply is capped by each harvest.

How it works

Who we supply: Specialty grocers, bakeries, restaurants, coffee roasters, gift shops, and soap makers — and, for the candles, parishes and religious goods shops.
Delivery: We deliver across Chicagoland, the city included, and further where it makes sense. Most of our accounts sit within about thirty miles of the yard their honey came from. Pickup by appointment.
Lead time: Most orders ship within a week. Large bulk orders depend on the season — ask.
Minimum order: One case — 24 lb, in either jar size. Bulk starts at a single 50 lb pail.
Private label: On honey and candles both. Two cases to start, one to reorder — you supply the printed labels.
Who you'll be buying from: Invoices and purchase orders are issued as Cebela Honey Products Co.— the name on our bulk labels. Trading as Čebela Honey.

In the community

We partnered with the Geneva Park District to establish the bee yard at the Peck Farm Community Gardens, stocked with Carniolan colonies — covered by the Kane County Chronicle in July 2024.
